Accessories & Props for the Edinburgh Festival
Carnival, 2023

Large in size and very fun costumes! I loved every moment of this job where a massive, international team shared and celebrated the love for art, creativity and creation. Our biggest challenge was the thighter budget (and the wind on the day of the carnival yay!) but we managed to overcome the obstacles with a variety of fabolous pieces.
My main making projects included a huge flower, 2 sets of toucan accessories for the Venezuelan group, and a feathery headpiece for the Peruvian team.
My other duties were:
  • fittings with the dancers for ensemble and principal costumes
  • participated in the logistics of the event
  • repairing older, broken costumes and props

Commissions from music bands

Rotten mummy corpses as stage props for the Mayhem music band in 2017 as my first official commission. I love horror and it was a very fun project for me. These props remained a signature part of the band's stage decors for many tours.

The other commissions were based on given designs from the music band Paediatrician. These pieces became the all time accessories for this unique band, and served the guys during dozens of tours since 2018.
